Benches, litter bins, planters, bollards, shelters, and bike racks are part of the daily public space: they are used by thousands of people, exposed to weathering, and must continue to guarantee safety, functionality, and aesthetic quality over the years.

Imagine a city where you can get around easily by bicycle, with the convenience of secure parking, perhaps at public transportation hubs like bus stops or subway stations. A city, then, where you can leave your car at home and choose a cleaner, more sustainable form of transportation—for yourself, your wallet (how much fuel we'd save!), and the planet. It's not such a far-fetched scenario: the solution exists, and it's called a bike station.

Here's a short version within the required timeframe: The Ministry of the Environment's "School Bus" call for proposals is an excellent opportunity to renovate street furniture and make cities more livable. The initiative offers significant funding to large municipalities for the purchase of shelters and the improvement of bus and tram stops. The goal is to improve the safety and efficiency of school transportation through "green" solutions and new functional coverings.
