The Komete Solar shelter

The Komete Solar Bus Shelter offers a unique bus waiting experience, with a robust and refined structure that combines functionality and aesthetics.

Creative design and advanced functionality
With its particular shape, the Komete Solar shelter is made up of two lateral load-bearing structures, made of square-section galvanized steel profiles, equipped at the base with a galvanized sheet metal plate with holes for fixing to the ground. The two structures are characterised by a lower carved panel, made with laser cutting in galvanized sheet metal. Covering frame made of rectangular-section galvanized steel profiles, unbreakable, protected from UV rays and particularly suitable for outdoor use. In the front part, a strip is obtained by means of press-bending, designed to accommodate a PVC sticker; rear gutter for collecting and draining rainwater. In the central part, the cover is characterised at the bottom by a decorative panel with stylised carvings, obtained by laser cutting in galvanized sheet metal. Rear wall made of square-section and rectangular-section galvanized steel profiles; The rear central module is characterised by a decorative panel with stylised carvings identical to the covering panel, obtained by laser cutting in galvanised sheet metal.

Technical features
  •  Infill: Rear wall with infill consisting of transparent laminated glass shapes with polished edge supported by appropriate clamps. Upper infill in compact smoked polycarbonate and lateral infill consisting of transparent laminated glass shape with polished edge supported by appropriate clamps.
  •  Bench: Bench inside the shelter consisting of a seat made with galvanised steel profiles and covered with Okumè wood profiles. The bench extends along the entire length of the shelter. In the lower central part there is a compartment made entirely of galvanized steel profiles, for the housing and wiring of all the electrical components of the structure
  •  Solar System: The Komete Solar photovoltaic shelter uses a photovoltaic panel installed on the upper part of the roof to generate electrical energy to be stored in an accumulator located inside the seat. The seat acts as a metal container, which can be inspected, and houses all the electronics necessary to make this shelter a stand-alone product. The energy stored in the accumulator is reused throughout the day, in order to power a QI wireless charging device, the USB sockets located on the sides of the seat and for the lighting of the shelter.
 • Safe Anchoring: Equipped with holes at the base for fixing to the ground, preventing tipping and unwanted movements.


Customization and Resistance for every environment
To adapt to different aesthetic needs, the shelter is available in the basic finish "light blue RAL 5012" for decorative panels, "pure white RAL 9010" for the structure. Furthermore, upon request it is possible to request customized colors and finishes to integrate the shelter perfectly into the surrounding environment. The structure, made of galvanized steel and painted with thermosetting powders, guarantees high resistance to atmospheric agents and a long life over time.
