Redevelopment of street furniture for ATAM Reggio Calabria

In collaboration with ATAM (Azienda Trasporti per l'Area Metropolitana), we have carried out a comprehensive project to modernize public transport waiting areas throughout the city of Reggio Calabria. The intervention involved the supply and installation of technologically advanced and functional urban furniture solutions, improving the travel experience for thousands of passengers every day.

Komete Solar smart shelters: technology and sustainability

The flagship of the project is the installation of Komete Solar model smart shelters. These structures are not simple shelters, but true technological hubs at the service of citizens.

• Solar power: Thanks to integrated photovoltaic panels, the shelters are energy-independent and zero-impact, reducing costs and promoting environmental sustainability.
• LED lighting: They guarantee safety and visibility during night hours, making the wait more comfortable and secure for all users.
• Modern design: The clean and innovative aesthetic line contributes to upgrading the urban image of bus stops.

Liberty Shelters: timeless elegance

For specific urban contexts requiring a more classic and traditional aesthetic, Liberty model shelters were installed. These structures combine an elegant design with maximum functionality, offering comfortable shelter and integrating perfectly with the surrounding architecture, especially in areas of historical and cultural value.

Signaling posts: clarity and visual consistency

To complete the intervention, new signaling posts were positioned along the entire service route. These elements are essential for:

• Passenger orientation: They provide clear and immediate information on lines and schedules.
• Stop recognizability: They create a coordinated and professional visual identity for the ATAM transport service, making every stop easily identifiable.
