Humanitas University's bike station project: sustainable mobility on campus
Construction of a 36 m2 structure equipped with two-level 'Tendem' bike racks for 30 bicycles, serving students, faculty, and staff.
We are proud to have collaborated with an excellence such as Humanitas University for the realization of a new and modern bike station. This project was created to support and encourage sustainable mobility within the campus, offering a safe, spacious, and functional service to the entire academic community.
High capacity for a dynamic campus
The structure, with a surface area of 36 square meters, has been sized to meet the needs of an attractive hub like Humanitas. It offers a safe shelter protected from the elements for 30 bicycles, guaranteeing a spot for students, researchers, faculty, and staff who choose an ecological means of transport every day.
Maximum efficiency with "Tendem" two-tier racks
Inside, space organization is optimized thanks to the installation of the innovative Tendem model racks. This system, arranged on two levels, allows for doubling the parking capacity within the same surface area. It is a smart solution that ensures efficient space usage, keeps the area always tidy, and facilitates bicycle parking and retrieval operations.
A concrete service for an environmentally conscious community
The installation of the bike station represents a fundamental added value for the Humanitas campus. It offers a concrete response to the growing demand for secure bicycle parking, promotes a healthy and active lifestyle, and strengthens the University's image as a cutting-edge institution, attentive to the well-being of its community and environmental sustainability.
