We had the honor of collaborating with the management of the UNESCO site of the Banditaccia Necropolis in Cerveteri, one of the most important and evocative places of the Etruscan civilization. Our intervention aimed to improve visitor reception services through the supply and installation of functional, durable street furniture elements designed to integrate with the utmost respect for the landscape and historical context.

Inclusivity and comfort: accessible benches

A fundamental point of the project was the installation of inclusive benches. These seats were designed to ensure accessibility and comfort for all visitors, including people with reduced mobility and families with strollers. By offering comfortable and accessible resting spaces, the visiting experience is enhanced, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the archaeological site.

Picnic areas: experiencing the site with respect for history

To offer a complete experience, dedicated resting areas were created with our picnic tables. Made with robust materials and low visual impact, these tables allow families and groups of visitors to enjoy a moment of refreshment immersed in a unique atmosphere, in areas specifically designated not to interfere with the monumental zones.

Services for sustainable and conscious tourism

To support increasingly attentive and sustainable tourism, the intervention was completed with the installation of essential services:

• Bike racks: Positioned at strategic points, they encourage arrival at the site via ecological means, offering safe and orderly parking for bicycles.
• Dog waste bins: A small but important detail that contributes to maintaining the cleanliness and decorum of a World Heritage site, ensuring peaceful coexistence among all visitors.

Furnishing history: a quality and respectful approach

This project demonstrates our commitment to providing not only products, but thought-out and integrated solutions. Working in contexts of exceptional historical and cultural value requires expertise, sensitivity, and the ability to choose furniture that serves the site and its visitors, without ever becoming the main focus.
