Mauro the Dinosaur: the educational bin for child-friendly street furniture

Mauro the Dinosaur is not just a bin: it is an innovative street furniture solution designed to educate children on the correct disposal of waste. Thanks to its attractive and functional design, this bin teaches little ones the importance of taking care of the environment, transforming an everyday gesture into a playful and educational experience.

Playful and functional design
Designed to capture the attention of children, Mauro the Dinosaur is characterized by soft lines, playful shapes and an ideal height for the little ones. The structure, made of galvanized steel sheet, has unique details:

  • Stylized claws on the sides, obtained with laser cutting, which recall the appearance of a dinosaur.
  • Upper part decorated with stylised elements representing the eyes and the back of the dinosaur.
  • Base with drainage holes to avoid water accumulation and designed for fixing to the ground.

Environmental education and ease of use
The shaped "mouth" of the bin, positioned at the front, invites children to insert waste correctly, making the gesture intuitive and fun. Furthermore, the bin is equipped with:

  • A front door with tilt opening with lock for safe and fast maintenance.
  • An internal bag holder ring to facilitate bag replacement.
  • Base with steel supports that lift the structure from the ground.


Customization and resistance over time
The quality of the materials offered by Dimcar guarantees a long life for the product: the bin is made of galvanized steel and finished with oven-baked thermosetting powder coating. The standard color is the lively matt traffic red (RAL 3020), but it is possible to choose from a wide range of RAL colors to adapt it to any urban context.
